18th March 2010: IBN-Lokmat brings to its engrossed viewers an interesting Great Bhet with the veteran actor Mohan Agashe. The renowned film and theatre personality will speak to Nikhil Wagle, Editor IBN-Lokmat, on Saturday 20th March 2010 at 9:30pm.
In this Great Bhet fans can get a slice of many more interesting facets of this iconic personality’s journey and the long way he has come to make a prominent imprint in Marathi cinema and theatre. 'A psychiatrist by profession, but an actor by choice’, very few people are aware of the fact that Mohan Agashe has a practice of over 20 years. Be it acting or psychiatry, Agashe has followed both his passions with equal fervor.
Agashe will also talk about his evolution as an actor over the years beginning with his first film, Saamna in 1974 to his latest release, Vihir that will be screened at the Berlin film festival. Having a rich experience and association with the film and theatre fraternity, Agashe has witnessed and has been a part of some of the most revolutionary changes in the industry. Having worked with legends like Satyajit Ray, Mira Nair, Shyam Benegal, Gautam Ghose and Jabbar Patel, Agashe has achieved great heights and contributed immensely to Marathi Cinema with some spectacular work in a variety of plays and award winning films.
This Great Bhet will showcase the actor sharing his enticing experiences from a doctor to being an acclaimed veteran.
