MALVERN, Pa.—The Institutes presented the Distinguished Graduate Award in the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) Program to Megan Hubbuch, CPA, AIAF, CPCU, Manager, Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP. The award is given each year to the person who earns the highest cumulative grade averages for the national examinations in this Institute program. The winner of the Distinguished Graduate Award receives a $500 cash award and a commemorative plaque. The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association, Inc. sponsors the award for this program.
Megan Hubbuch is a Manager in Johnson Lambert & Co. LLP’s Florida office responsible for planning and directing all aspects of audit planning, fieldwork and financial statement preparation for audits of insurance companies. She has worked exclusively on insurance company clients since joining Johnson Lambert in 2006, and was also responsible for the internal control testing under the Sarbanes Oxley Act on the Jacksonville offices’ SEC registrant insurance audit client. She leads the Jacksonville Office’s internal quality controls and compliance program.
Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kutztown University and a Masters in Business Administration from Salisbury University. She is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Insurance Accounting and Systems Association and the Charted Property Casualty Underwriters Society.
