Hertfordshire's leading digital marketing agency, Distinctly Digital, has appointed Tom Shurville as Digital Director. With experience working for multinational electronics retailer DSGi and St. Albans based web development agency Netcel, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this new role.
Tom began his online marketing career at DSGi where he worked as a Product Manager for the audio and imaging categories for the Dixons, Currys and PCWorld brands. It is here he recognised the importance of online marketing. Keen to enhance his knowledge Tom joined St. Albans based web development agency, Netcel in 2008 as a Digital Marketing Consultant. At Netcel Tom was charged with increasing traffic to Netcel's clients which include the Institute of Leadership and Management, Thomson Local and Mars amongst others.
Whilst at Netcel, Tom's talent in the world on online marketing became apparent and he was voted Hertfordshire New Graduate in Business Award 2008 for his achievements.
Tom will be tasked with increasing the breadth and depth of Distinctly Digital's offering and expanding on its core services of search engine optimisation and pay per click (PPC) marketing. Tom has said of the move to Distinctly Digital:
