/1888PressRelease/ Patty Sue Williams, President of Telesis and Founder of the AmeriSource Program, has announced the expansion of the AmeriSource Program, which trains recent information technology graduates in software testing and places them in permanent positions.

Hundreds of quality assurance jobs have been outsourced offshore in an attempt to cut costs and increase profits. However, the AmeriSource program creates a cost-effective alternative that allows companies to keep jobs in America using people who are culturally closer to the business processes being tested. Telesis' BT3 business testing triage tool allows companies to maintain offshore pricing models, while employing American employees at a competitive wage.

The AmeriSource program hand picks some of the brightest information technology graduates to learn Telesis' proprietary quality assurance frameworks and BT3. These graduates complete a ten week training program to become experts in Telesis' frameworks and BT3 technology. For six additional months, students perform client work using BT3, while being mentored by client and Telesis staff. Upon graduation from the program, Telesis partners with its clients to place top students in permanent positions, and the clients retain the free BT3 licenses.

"AmeriSource clients save software testing dollars, while investing in the future of America," comments Patty Sue Williams. "In the current economic conditions, jobs are disappearing – but AmeriSource offers companies an opportunity to create jobs in the US while keeping expenses low and increasing productivity."

Telesis has forged partnerships with many organizations to make the program a success, including: The State of Connecticut Department of Labor, Hartford Steam Boiler and The Hartford Insurance Group.

James Meador, IT Director for Hartford Steam Boiler comments, "We've built our quality assurance department around the AmeriSource program. Our company has experienced great success integrating program participants into our team quickly. Existing employees help program graduates build on their learning, and, in a short time, we have very productive quality assurance resources. This program has proved to be a cost effective alternative to outsourcing off shore. We're building a skilled workforce for the future."
