As we begin winding down towards the end of 2007, it's always valuable, in making preparations for the new year, to take a moment to consider and reflect on the year gone by. 2007 has certainly been an industrious one for VRS and, I believe, an extremely productive and successful one.
This year has seen the first phase introduction of our longawaited new software system, which we're brought in incrementally and run side by side with our existing program, as a test chapter, in our club administration department. We are pleased with the results to date and are confident that once we're
fully operational on the new system, the improvements from an operational perspective will be vast.
I know that many of our members are anxiously awaiting the introduction of the new system from the perspective of interactive online capabilities. The development of the new program is being approached from the ground up, so to speak, which means that we are focusing firstly on the administrative functions of the system.
