Hanover, PA August 9, 2006 - Local teens, Lily and Grace Reed, are off to California with their mother to film an upcoming episode of "Uncommon Threads" for the DIY Network. Lily is a sophomore at Delone Catholic High School, and Grace is entering the 7th grade at Sacred Heart Catholic School. They have been sewing for several years, and are excited to be on television. Lily is also on staff at the Student Sun in Hanover, and both girls participate in productions at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center.

Lily and Grace will be featured sewing and wearing clothes from their mother's recent book "Sew Teen" published by Sixth & Spring. Mom, Sheila Zent, develops sewing products and projects for teens and tweens under the brand name eXpresSew. To learn more about sewing for teens and tweens visit www.expressew.com.
