Online advertisement dollars are going to charities
Fort Lauderdale, FL - December 5, 2006 EmailDonate Inc. announced a promising service, which will tunnel online advertisement dollars to charities.
Added: 12/05/2006 - Michele Din

Founded in 2006, EmailDonate delivers daily, fun, and educational content to email users. Each email contains sponsored links through which the company generates its revenue. The revenue is shared according to the user's preference when s/he signs up for the service. This lets each user effectively support charities simply by getting free content into her/his inbox.

"EmailDonate was born to give legitimate and well established charities an opportunity to benefit from email users that are interested in supporting a great cause", said Guner Akturk, co-founder of "We offer charities the opportunity to connect with their supporters through natural, non-pushy mechanisms.

Charities currently supported at the site include: American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Food for the Poor, United Way, and Scholarship America. Users can also suggest their favorite charities to be added to the site.

EmailDonate users receive daily emails about the content of their interests such as horoscope, jokes, fashion tips, Bible verses, and more. Besides the sponsored links, the emails advertise promotions of charities, their events, and announcements at no cost.

"We are excited to be part of such an innovative and prestigious company," said Mr. Akturk. "This is the first time charities have an opportunity to raise funds by simply promoting email use!
