Charlotte, NC, February 3, 2016 – The Super Bowl bound Carolina Panthers and contemporary and pop artist Victoria Schweizer announces that they have teamed up to paint the current NFC Champions. Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Roman Harper, and other players’ portraits have been captured on canvas, autographed by each player and auctioned off with all proceeds from their sale, usually upwards of $5,000 each, going to benefit national and local charities.
Ms. Schweizer’s artwork is a proven commodity with the Panthers and the Charlotte community. Sam Mills III, defensive line coach for the Panthers is a fan. Commenting on her painting of Mr. Kuechly, "Victoria’s pop art portrait of Luke strikes a chord with Panther fans. The look of her art is unmistakable and her talent is equally matched with her commitment to giving back to those in need."
A recent portrait of, and for, Panther’s player Roman Harper’s charitable cause, Harper’s Hope 4*1, scored with the player and on auction. "Her commitment to the organizations that help the less fortunate with her art donations demonstrate the care Victoria has for the Charlotte community."
Ms. Schweizer, a self-taught artist, has been painting celebrities for charitable causes for over twenty years, and has collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Alba, Meryl Streep, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jack Nicklaus, Michael J. Fox and many others.
