A Cumbrian law firm is launching the County’s first Energy Law team this month. 

Burnetts, which has offices in Carlisle and in West Cumbria, has gathered together switched-on legal experts from its agriculture, planning, construction, commercial property and corporate law departments.

The new team will support land owners who are planning to install energy generating technology on their land or property and will be launched at a summer drinks reception during the Cumberland Show at Carlisle Racecourse on 16th July 2011.

The Energy line-up includes Head of Agriculture Richard Miller, Head of Construction Jonathan Marshall, Head of Planning Doug Claxton, Commercial Property Partner Tony Lake and Corporate Associate Sam Lyon.
