Error Messages
- "The text you submitted has more links than are allowed."
This means you've place too many links in your press release. Please see above for link limits.
- "This text appears to contain one or more MS Word formatting tags."
This means that you may be pasting text directly from a Microsoft Word document. Microsoft Word uses a number of non-standard, proprietary formatting commands that don't translate well (if at all) into standard HTML editors. To remove Word's non-standard formatting markup, copy the text into Notepad, then select all the text and copy it into the prFocus editor window. This will usually allow the press release to be re-formatted properly. It's important that your press release have standard formatting for search engines to index it properly.
- "The text you submitted had prohibited tags found in it."
To maintain the quality of our site and content and to prevent our pages from being distorted or displayed incorrectly, some formatting tags or styles are not allowed. If you receive this message, remove the prohibited words and resubmit the release. Attempting to bypass our content filtering may result in the removal of your account and/or the releases you've published.
